Unfortunately there has been a disastrous fire at a chemical warehouse in Germany (BASF). This company makes some
of the raw materials that go into making fragrance oils so there is therefore a shortage of multiple critical ingredients
used in the formulations of many fragrance oils. This issue may cause some of the fragrance oils to be listed as
"out of stock" once current inventory is depleted. The fragrance oil manufacturers are therefore temporarily
reformulating some fragrances until ingredients are available again. There has however been some negative feedback
from suppliers in regards to some of these reformulations so in order to avoid customer dissatisfaction with fragrance
oils that are not guaranteed to perform as usual I have decided not to purchase the impacted fragrance oils until the
original formulations are available again.
Please understand that this situation is out of my control and is an industry wide problem. At the moment I am
still waiting to hear from various suppliers in regards to this issue. I will try to keep you updated as soon as
possible in regards to which fragrances are going to be impacted.
At this stage it looks like this issue will however not be resolved until May 2018.
Expected arrival dates for out of stock fragrances are shown below:
American Dream (type) - 15th January
Beer - 26th January
Black Opium - 1st Feb
Big Tree Supplies is a home based business in Brisbane, Queensland, with only one employee, which is me! :)
Originally from the UK, I`ve been living in Australia since 2007. I have been supplying fragrance oils, molds and
colourants since 2003 and have been making candles as a hobby since way before that.
Check out my ever expanding line of fragrance oils which are specially formulated for use with candles, soap and
bath & body products. Although specially formulated for that use, they can of course also be used for
oil burners, potpourri, incense, reed diffusers etc.
To make it easier for you to decide which lovely fragrances to try out next, I have now added a
Fragrance Oil List which
shows each and every fragrance oil I stock, complete with description.
The colourant range is also expanding nicely with new colourants being introduced every month or two. If you would
like me to order in a particular shade of mica powder etc. please just send me an email and I`ll try my best to locate
it for you. Remember, the colourants are not just for soap making: micas, oxides and dyes can also be used to make your
own creams, lotions, lip balms and Mineral MakeUp (MMU).
Please note: This a purely internet based business, so I do not have a store front open to the public or any
goods on display. I am rarely available to answer phone calls as I`m often too busy packaging up your orders. If you
are having trouble getting hold of me by phone, please contact me via email with any queries, problems, suggestions,
shipping errors or comments. I will get back to you as quickly as I can, usually within a few hours.
