Flavour oils can be added to oil soluble products such as lip balms, lipsticks, body butters & edible massage oils. Despite their name, flavour oils do not actually have any real flavour. They are actually highly concentrated food safe fragrance oils. Commercial products that seem to have a taste actually use a sweetener. The sweetener tricks your brain into thinking you are tasting the flavour when you are actually smelling it.

If you want your products to actually "taste" they way they smell you will need to also add a sweetener, such as stevia which is all natural.
