Specially designed for use in making bath salts & bath bombs but works great great for all kinds of cosmetic projects.
Liquid lakes are a DYE (not a pigment) mixed in glycerine. They are water soluble and will colour the bath water you put it into. If you use too much in order to make a really strong colour you run the risk of staining the bath or a washcloth, so use a light touch.
They are cosmetic grade, stable, but colour may bleed into others if used in layers or for embeds in soap.
Suggested usage rate: 1 drop of Liquid Lake turns one 1 tablespoon of salt to a medium shade.
Ingredients:
Glycerin - CAS 56-81-5
FD&C Yellow #5 Aluminum Lake (aka CI Food Yellow #4) - CI Number 19140, CAS 1934-21-0
